ITINERARY
Departure from Almaty is at 07:00. We will pick up participants from their hotels. The journey to the canyons takes you through picturesque landscapes, including agricultural fields and pastures. Along the way, our guide-driver will share the history of the Almaty region, with a few short stops for photography.
Panoramic Sites #1 and #2 - Valley of Castles (Qyzylsay) at Charyn Canyon
We park at the descent into the Valley of Castles and take a leisurely trek with several stops to the EcoPark village (2 km each way). Our guide will provide insights into the formation of the Charyn Canyon and highlight the unique characteristics of the various canyons. We'll pause briefly at the Charyn River, where you can take photographs in the shade of the trees before returning to our vehicles. After a short break, we will continue our journey towards the left bank of the Charyn River.

Panoramic Site #3 - Lunar (Zhabyr, Uzunbulak) Canyon View
Lunch break on the way to our 3rd panoramic site. After a 30-minute drive, we will stop for a panoramic view of the Lunar Canyon. We will have a 15-minute photoshoot before continuing to panoramic area #4.
Panoramic Site #4 - View of the Charyn River (Stone Shelf)
The stone shelf in the Charyn Gorge offers a breathtaking view. The landscape resembles that of mountain belts found at 3,500 meters, although we are actually at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level. Visitors should take precautions here, as the wall height reaches 250 meters.

Panoramic Sites #5 and #6 - Napoleon and the Austrian Spot
After another 30-minute drive, we will arrive at our next viewpoint, "Napoleon." Here, we circle around the Charyn River, offering a stunning view of the Valley of Castles from the opposite bank. The grand landscape, reminiscent of ancient Greek amphitheaters, always leaves a long lasting impression on our tourists.
We will take a 15-minute break for photography before continuing to our final destination on the route, the Austrian Spot. Afterward, we will begin our journey back to Almaty.
