ITINERARY
08:00 – 08:10 | Hotel Pick-Up & Transfer
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to Medeo and begin the ascent through the Kimasar Gorge.
10:00 – 10:30 | Famous Mountain Swings
Moving at a steady pace along the river and up the eastern ridge of Kimasar Gorge, we reach the well-known swings — a scenic rest point before continuing along the ridge.
11:00 – 11:30 | Furmanov Peak (3053 m)
From the “Enthusiasts’ Meadow,” we take the steep rocky trail to Furmanov Peak — our first summit. The climb is intense and sets the tone for the adventure ahead.
Easier Version (Reverse Route Option)
A less demanding variation is available. From Medeo, participants take the cable car to the upper Kombi-2 station (3200 m) and begin from Chimbulachka Peak. The route then follows the ridge in reverse order, with approximately 80% of the hike descending.

⚠️ Not recommended for people with knee joint issues.
12:10 – 12:30 | Panorama Peak (3260 m) & Bashuta Peak (3355 m)
A 40-minute ascent brings us to Panorama Peak, offering outstanding views of the city and, in clear weather, even Talgar Peak. After a short break and snack, we continue along the ridge with a gradual climb to Bashuta Peak.
14:30 – 15:30 | Chimbulachka Peak (3460 m)
After descending slightly to the saddle, we begin the steep scree ascent to the final summit. Careful footing and focus are required here. The reward is dramatic summit views and a strong sense of accomplishment at 3460 meters.
16:00 – 16:30 | Descent via Shymbulak
We descend toward the Big Talgar Pass and reach the Shymbulak ski resort. From there, we take the cable car down to Medeo. Transfer to hotel.
