This route takes you deep into Gorelnik Gorge and up to the remote Titov Lakes — moraine reservoirs surrounded by rugged high-mountain landscapes.

ITINERARY
  • 08:00 – 08:10 | Hotel Pick-Up & Transfer
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to Medeo, where we take the eco-taxi to the turnoff toward Gorelnik Gorge.
    08:35 – 09:00 | Gorelnik Gorge
The trail begins with green meadows before quickly turning into steep ascents through spruce forest. As we climb higher, the forest opens into flower-filled alpine fields, especially beautiful in August during fireweed bloom.
    11:30 – 12:00 | “Eagle’s Nest” Meadow
We take a short break at the scenic Eagle’s Nest meadow. Soon after, the last spruce trees disappear and vast alpine landscapes unfold. We approach a steep grassy moraine slope — the final major climb before reaching the lake basin.
  • 13:30 – 14:30 | Titov Lakes (3300 m)
After crossing the moraine ridge that forms the natural dam, the Titov moraine lakes come into view. If lucky, we may spot marmots among the rocks.
We relax by the lake with hot tea and snacks. For the brave, an icy dip is possible.
    18:30 – 19:00 | Return to the City
The descent follows the same route. Steep downhills require careful footing, but the effort is rewarded by a strong sense of achievement. Return transfer to the hotel.
